October Information

November Schedules are due by October 15th. They can be found on the blog under "Current Documents" or in Youthville.

YAC will be meeting on Wednesday, October 7th from 4 to 6pm. YouthALIVE! will meet on Wednesday, October 14th from 4 to 5pm and Seasongood will meet from 5 to 6pm. Please check your e-mails for any updates/changes.

DECM/MNHS Youth - You will be seeing Journey to Space, the newest movie to come to our Omnimax theatre, during the first part of your Omni meeting. Please meet in front of the Omnimax theatre by 4pm. If you are more than 10 minutes late, please wait in Youthville until 5pm then make your way to Tri-Mamm classroom.

For youth interested in applying for a paid position, please submit your cover letter and resume to Mr. Calvin by October Omni (October 21) at 5pm. For more information, please refer to the job description.

On October 15th, there will be an opportunity for youth to participate in a program in collaboration with the Inaugural Regional Conference. The program "I Walked with Bold Courage" will include music, a hands-on activity, and lively discussion. For more information, please refer to the flyer. Please RSVP to Ms. Caitlin by October 8th.

Our next Free Friday is on October 23rd from 4 to 8pm. If you have not signed up already, please make sure you send an e-mail to Youth Programs staff letting us know that you are available on that day.

CHM YOUTH - Please make sure that you sign up for Holiday Junction Training. Remember, if you have not passed Ground Phase or you have not attended one(1) training session, you will not be scheduled on the floor from Friday, November 6th to Sunday, January 3rd. For information, please refer to this blog post.

MNHS YOUTH - Fossil Fest will be on Saturday, October 17th. If you are scheduled to work that day, please be sure to pay special attention to your schedule. 

MNHS YOUTH - BatFest will be on Saturday, October 24. If you are scheduled to work that day, please be sure to pay special attention to your schedule.

The YAC Fall Overnight will be from Saturday, October 24th @ 6pm to Sunday, October 25th @ 9am in the Cincinnati History Museum. Permission slips are due on October 17th. There will be food, fun and even a haunted house! Be sure to get your permission slips in on time!
