Cross Training for CHM will happen right after the mandatory supplemental training. Email us of your interest if you want to attend the cross training.

College Tour Applications Due- Wednesday, February 28 (optional)

Location: Kentucky and Tennessee (see application for potential universities and colleges)

Applications should include essays and copy of most recent grades. 
We will notify you of official acceptance on March 8th.

Family Night
Date: Saturday, March 3
Time: 5pm-7pm
Location: Cincinnati Art Museum

Family Night is one of our biggest events of the year. Organized by the Youth Advisory Council, Family Night showcases what Youth Programs is all about. This event is a great first impression to the potential new youth who are looking to join. We could use both youth and parent volunteers.RSVP by February 27 if you would like to attend or help out.

Dinosaur Train SPOTS FILLED

CMC is hosting Scott Sampson at the Public Library of Cincinnati. Dr. Sampson is a paleontologist but he is probably best known as the advisor and host for the PBS KIDS series “Dinosaur Train." We are looking for youth who are interested in running din-themed programs. Demos will be reviewed with you beforehand. All levels of dino knowledge welcome! 
ACT Practice Test

YAC Winter Overnight
Date: March 17 
Time: TBD (evening of March 17 through morning of March 18)
Location: Newport Aquarium


Youth will participate in games and enjoy food, fun and building new friendships. Youth Programs coordinators will chaperone. More details to come on when and how to pick up/drop off your youth and what to bring. Permission slips must be returned in person or by email to us by the end of the day Wednesday March 7 to be considered. Spots are limited- you will receive an email from us by March 14 confirming your spot to attend. **YAC members mut submit permission slips too!**

Senior Speech and Picture Due- March 21 (mandatory for seniors)
Email to youthprograms@cincymusem.org by March 21 or bring hardcopy to Omni. 

3rd Quarter Progress Report / Second Semester Grades Due - March 21 (mandatory for all youth)
Email or turn in a hard copy of your most recent progress report or report card for our records. Submitting this information is a mandatory part of being actively engaged in Youth Programs. Late submissions will result in disciplinary action. This information remains confidential and is only used for grant purposes and to provide youth with necessary resources. hard copies can be turned in during your shifts or Omni.
