School Year Hours Requirement
Now that summer is over, shift times will begin and end as follows:
CAM early shift (Saturdays and Sundays): 10:45am-4pm
CAM late shift (Saturdays and Sundays): 11:45am-4pm
DECM, Star Wars and Animal Programs early shift (Saturdays): 10:45am-4pm
DECM, Star Wars and Animal Programs late shift (Saturdays): 11:45am-5pm
DECM, Star Wars and Animal Programs early shift (Sundays): 11:45am-5pm
DECM, Star Wars and Animal Programs late shift (Sundays): 12:45pm-6pm
Important Reminder: The 15 minutes before the start of the hour are IMPORTANT for Youth Programs updates. It is important that you are not late to your shift.
All youth are expected to work a MINIMUM of 2 shifts per month.

Youth Advisory Council Open House is September 6 from 4-6pm at Geier.
New member application is due September 13 to youthprograms@cincymuseum.org
Day Trip to Louisville -POSTPONED!
On Saturday September 9 we are planning to go on a field trip to Louisville, KY. Keep in mind there will be a limited number of spots for this trip. Factors like the number of interested youth and your standing within Youth Programs (attendance record) could impact your ability to go.
Keep an eye out on your email for when we send out permission slips.
Grandparent's Day
The Cincinnati Art Museum has invited us to show off our talents. On September 10 from 3-4pm, we will be doing a performance in the Great Hall of the Art Museum in honor of Grandparents Day! If you would like to play a musical instrument, read poetry or do any other sort of performance on this day in front of an audience, please email youthprograms@cincymuseum.org
If this is something that interests you, we will get you in contact with Donald, the youth who is coordinating this event. This is open to all youth, not just those working at the Art Museum on 9/10.
Please express your interest by August 25.

College Fair
The Freedom Center (50 E Freedom Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202) is hosting colleges and universities on Thursday September 14 from 10am-2pm.
If your school is not already planning to attend but you are interested, please let us know and we can provide a letter excusing your absence from school to attend. We recommend bringing a resume with you to share with colleges.
OMNI
The September OMNI will be on September 20 from 4-6pm at Geier. This is a mandatory meeting. It is your responsibility to let us know if you will be missing or will be running late.
Building Big Ideas
Ms. Becca has invited youth to help with the Building Big Ideas event in the Children's Museum on September 23. If you are a DECM youth and have already signed up for 9/23, you will be helping with the event in some capacity. If you are a MNHS or CHM youth and would like to help, you should email youth programs@cincymuseum.org of your interest by 9/13.
It will be first come first served for MNHS and CHM youth with limited spots. Late requests will not be accommodated and the spots may fill up quickly.

Star Wars Ticket Requests
Star Wars is here until October 1st!
To request tickets, you must email youthprograms@cincymuseum.org with the following information at least 5 days in advance: # of tickets, date, time (entry time is every 15 minutes), the name of the person picking up the tickets.
Youth Volunteers may reserve free admission for themselves and will receive exhibit Member-pricing for up to 4 immediate family members or guests.
Paid Youth may reserve free exhibit admission for themselves and up to four additional immediate family members. Guests other than immediate family members (and family members beyond the four free comp tickets) can attend the exhibition with the employee by paying Member-pricing for admission ($17.00 adult, $12.00 child).
