Happy November!

Thank you to all who participated in and helped plan the YAC Halloween Overnight! It was a huge success! Be sure to check out the video, made by Heather, that is posted on our Facebook Page.

November 5th: Fossil Fest at the Zoo.  Shift options are 8:30-1 or 1-5. The morning shift will help with set-up, programming, and greeting. The afternoon shift will help with programming, greeting, break-down of the event.

November 12th:Training for the next special exhibit, Vikings, is from 10-11:30. Please note, this is only open to paid youth.

November 15th: December schedules are DUE. 

November 19th:ACT Practice at CMC from 8 am - 12 pm. Please sign up on your schedule request if you are interested. 

November 20th: DECM supplemental training 10-12:30 at CMC. This is MANDATORY for all DECM youth. 

Happy Holidays Campaign: We would like to strongly encourage you and your family to join us this holiday season and help " Make a Holiday Wish Come True!"

This year, we will again be participating in Lighthouse Youth Services Happy Holidays Project. An email will be sent out with a list of boys and girls, of all different ages. Browse the list to see which individual you would like to "adopt". All gifts should be brought to CMC or CAM by December 9th and they will then be taken to Lighthouse.
(Please note: As per Lighthouse's policies, all gifts must be left unwrapped.)

To keep things simple and organized, please follow the following steps:
1. Look through the list and select a youth (they are listed by client ID #)
2. E-mail the following info to youthprograms@cincymuseum.org
  *   List the Client ID#, your full name, and the items you will be giving
  *   Make the e-mail subject "Happy Holidays Project" (so your messages don't get lost!) :)
3. Bring your gifts to CMC or CAM by December 9th.
(Please be sure to label each gift with the ID# on masking tape.)


In the event we have duplicate client selections Youth Programs may respond via email requesting that you select an alternate individual to adopt. Or you and another family can double up and split the gifts between you. We will do this immediately to avoid any last minute changes.

Remember, this is a very important project, if you make a commitment to adopt a youth, please make your best efforts to follow through so that we can ensure that everyone can have a Happy Holiday Season!
