YAC will meet today Wednesday, May 4th from 4 to 6pm.

YouthALIVE! will meet on Wednesday, May 11th from 4 to 5pm.

Omni is on Wednesday, May 18th from 4 to 6pm. Remember, it is a mandatory meeting. Please be sure to let staff know if you cannot attend as well as your reason for missing the meeting.

For those of you that signed up for the CHM Overnight from May 14th to May 15, please be sure to print and return your permission slips by next Wednesday.

Our Big Summer Trip to Florida from June 21st to June 26th was announced at our April Omni! Please be sure to turn in your application if you are interested in attending at our May Omni meeting by 5pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!

New Youth Orientation will take place on Saturday, May 14th from 11am-4pm, Saturday, May 21st from 11am-4pm and Sunday, May 22nd from 12pm-5pm. If you would like to assist with orientation, please indicate it on your schedule request. It is up to Youth Programs' staff's discretion if you will be able to assist.

For youth interested in helping with Day Camps training this summer, you will have a training on Wednesday, May 25th from 4pm to 7pm. This is a mandatory training to work day camps, even if you have already attended training. Please be sure to e-mail Youth Programs if you will be attending.

The Annual Awards and Recognition Banquet will be on Thursday, June 9th from 6 to 9pm. Please be sure to RSVP for you and your immediate family by Wednesday, May 18th (Omni). Join us as we celebrate our seniors and welcome our new youth volunteers! 

We're close to the end and now it's time to start thinking about the annual banquet. This year we will be having two mandatory rehearsals May 29th and June 4 th. ALL SENIORS MUST ATTEND! Seniors - Rehearsals will be from 12pm to 2pm on May 29th and 1pm to 3pm on June 4th. Those reading letters to seniors - Rehearsals will be from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on May 29th and 3:30pm to 5:30pm on June 4th. We will be practicing the order of speeches for the night and ways to improve how our speeches will be delivered to the audience.

The GIRLS Team in MNHS is seeking a small group of Youth Program volunteers to assist with the program on an as-needed basis. Duties may include conceptual program development, Newsletter topic research, Newsletter copywriting, career and professional development, and program execution. Interested applicants must have an interest in the STEM disciplines, strong written and verbal skills, and a positive attitude. If you are interested (girls only), please let us know. You do not have to be a MNHS youth, but you do you have to have an interest in STEM or pursuing a STEM career.
