February Information

• March Schedule Requests are due February 15th. They can be found on the blog under "Current Documents" or in Youthville.
• Do you know someone who is interested in joining Youth Programs? Applications will be available the beginning of January and the application deadline is February 20th. If you have any questions, please ask a Youth Programs coordinator.
• Help is still needed during Difference Makers on Saturday, February 7th from 6:15 to 9:30pm with an art-based craft. There are over 400 attendees expected for this year's Difference Makers so we need all the help we can get! If you are interested, please send an e-mail to Youth Programs so we can send you the details.
• REMINDER - Seasongood Meeting will be on Wednesday, February 11th from 5 to 6pm in the North Volunteer Lounge. Please e-mail Youth Programs if you plan to attend.
•  Appalachian Culture Fest is Saturday, February 14th! If you are interested in volunteering to help with the culture fest, please e-mail Youth Programs.
• DECM YOUTH - You have a mandatory supplement training on Sunday, February 22nd from 10 until 12:30. It is your responsibility to let Youth Programs know if you cannot be there, otherwise we will see you on the 22nd in Classroom 1(CHM).
• If you have not already, please turn in your first semester grades ASAP. Those who have not yet turned in their grades will be taken off the February schedule until they are received.
•  SENIORS - Please do not forget to turn in your Senior Information Sheets (the information can be updated as you receive it) as well as your bios for this year's program for the Awards Banquet. These need to be in by February's Omni to be included in the program. Anything received after that WILL NOT be included. If you have any questions about the bios, please e-mail Tijuana McCrary(CHM) at tsmccrary@yahoo.com.
• CMCYP on Ice! That's right! On Friday, February 13th from 6 to 9pm, Youth Programs will be ice skating on Fountain Square. We are unable to provide transportation, but pick up and drop off will be at Fountain Square. Cost - $5 (for admission and skate rental). Please bring extra money for food (Panera Bread, Chipotle and Graeter's are all located on Fountain Square). Permission slips will be available on the blog and in Youthville.
• The Annual YouthAlive! College Tour is coming up on March 31 to April 2. This year we will be visiting schools in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. Visits may include schools such as Belmont, Fisk, Tennessee State University, Alabama A&M, Tuskegee, Auburn, Emory, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, and others. A final itinerary will set by February's Omni and applications will be available then. Essays and applications questions will be due by March 11th.
• Do not forget to sign up for demos for March 7th Family Night!(note: Family Night has been moved to a Saturday this year). Sign ups are in Youthville.
