January Information

February Schedule Requests are due January 15th. They can be found on the blog under "Current Documents" or in Youthville.

Do you know someone who is interested in joining Youth Programs? Applications will be available the beginning of January and the application deadline is February 20th. If you have any questions, please ask a Youth Programs coordinator.

The Seasongood Civic Engagement internship will be starting again in January. If you have an interested in law, city and regional politics and/or social justice, then consider coming to an information meeting at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 3rd, to learn more! If you cannot make it but are interested, please send an email to Youth Programs to let us know!

MNHS - Lights Out Cave Tours will be given on January 10th and 11th. When making your schedules, please keep in mind that youth will be needed on the both early and late shifts on these days.

African Heritage Culture Fest is on Monday, January 19th!

YAC Winter Overnight will be from Saturday, January 24th at 6pm to Sunday, January 25th at 9am. Permission slips will be available in Youthville and on the blog.

January should mark the beginning of a new semester, which means that you should have your first semester grades. Don't forget that you need to send a copy to Youth Programs (can be found on the Participant Agreement Form you signed and on page 8 of the Handbook). Please get them to us ASAP!

We will be rolling out a new schedule request/attendance system at January's Omni so it is imperative that you attend Omni on January 21st. This will make sure that we get the information out to everyone in a timely manner.

SENIORS - Mr. Calvin would like to meet with all of you at January's Omni, so please be sure you are there! Bring your senior information sheets as well!
