March 19, 2011 This unique, one–day event will focus on how parents, educators and childcare professionals can use play as an effective tool in their interactions with and education of young children. There will be a variety of sessions appropriate for parents and caregivers of children 10 and younger. The conference will feature four main elements: Family Interactive Sessions provide activities for adults and children to experience together.
Adult-Only Sessions highlight more in-depth exploration of topics focusing on a variety of educational domains.
The Free Forum focuses on language and literacy in preschool-aged children. The conference also includes an Information Fair which is free and open to the public and will have booths from over thirty local organizations who work with children and families.
Sessions are priced individually which allows participants to attend sessions throughout the day or to attend a few sessions of their choosing. Please plan to join us for this special day focusing on the education of young children. We are proud to announce that all conference sessions are Ohio Step Up to Quality Approved and Kentucky Approved Early Care and Education Training.
